Plot[]
Part One: Aadi considers moving out of No.7. As Kelly scrubs away at the graffiti on the wall, she is befriended by Cole, a lad at the supported accommodation. Tyrone discovers that Phill has offered to help Hope build a model of the solar system for her science project. He insists that he'll be the one to assist his daughter. A tearful Nina tells Asha that she's lost the ring Seb gave her. Nick and Leanne agree that it's time to seek professional help for Sam. Daniel goes through a mock interview with Summer but the girl is unusually nervous and inarticulate in his presence. Determined to outdo Phill, Tyrone spends the morning shopping for materials for Hope's project, only to drop them all over the floor in the garage. Aadi decides to go after an apprenticeship with a tech company in London. Summer notices that Daniel has left his school pass in the classroom and takes it. Dev tells Kelly to stay away from Asha and mentions the missing ring to her. Seeing a poster Nina has erected, she calls a friend and asks for a lift.
Part Two: Phill offers to let Tyrone use the kit he bought for Hope's project. Tyrone grudgingly accepts. Aadi broaches his London plans with Dev, hoping he'll fund his rent. Dev is aggrieved that his son is leaving him for a minimum wage apprenticeship. Summer tells Amy that she hasn't slept with Aadi yet as she's been busy with her uni application. Nick and Leanne consult with Dr Gaddas over Zoom. The doctor agrees to refer Sam to the child and adolescent mental health services for talking therapy. They're informed that if he meets the criteria he'll be allocated a therapist, but there's a waiting list. Using Phill's materials, Tyrone builds a fantastic model of the solar system. Dev grows nostalgic for the days when he owned seven shops and laments to Bernie that he can't afford to grow his empire while he's paying to keep Asha's videos off the internet. He tells Bernie that he doesn't want to lose his son. Summer again volunteers to baby-sit Bertie so that Daniel can attend a PTA meeting, giving Max his coaching in the flat at the same time. She returns Daniel's pass at the same time and beams when he asks what he'd do without her. As Fiz and Phill admire the model solar system, Phill lets Tyrone take the credit. Dev tells Aadi that rather than lose him to a London firm, he'd like to make him general manager of his three shops. Aadi is swayed by Dev's talk of rebuilding his empire as father and son.
Part Three: Leanne doesn't think she can be a mother to Sam so soon after losing Oliver. Steve encourages her to think of Sam not as a replacement, but as someone else to love. Daisy is still trying to tie Daniel down to a date. Bernie reveals to Aadi that Dev can't afford his rent in London because of Asha, thinking it'll make him feel better. Aadi's enraged as he realises the real reason for Dev's job offer. Tyrone is miffed that Phill is a genuinely nice guy. Dev gets Aadi to mind the shop as he excitedly takes delivery of his new car. Angry with his dad, Aadi helps himself to the whisky from the back. Leanne tells Nick she's willing to look after Sam. Aadi gets drunk and scratches Dev's car.
Part Four: Kelly presents Nina with a ring, making out it's the one she has lost. Nina isn't fooled and Kelly admits that she took a trip to York in a bid to find a replacement as a way of showing her how sorry she is, having remembered her saying in court that Seb got it there. Nina chucks the ring back at her. Craig informs Dev that his car has been vandalised. Dev identifies Kelly as the vandal. Roy advises Nina to cut Kelly some slack as she appears to be genuinely sorry. Craig questions Kelly about the vandalism to Dev's car. Kelly assures him she spent the afternoon in York with a mate. Adam quizzes Daniel about his intentions towards Daisy. Listening from the hall, Summer mistakenly assumes they're discussing her and is thrilled when Daniel says he'll be alright. Kelly is taken in for questioning, with Imran representing her. She's left with no alibi as her so-called mate has claimed that he hasn't clapped eyes on her all day.
