Plot

Kevin is in his own world of worry as Tim natters away to him. He suddenly sets off, saying he has to go on a call out. Zeedan can't find a new chef from his various contacts and he and Alya have to put off Bernie when she offers her services. Roy informs Asha that Nina seems to be dropping her vendetta against Corey. Teresa Miles's review in the Gazette praises the food at Speed Daal though criticises the poor atmosphere due to the lack of customers. Yasmeen and Alya tell him to find ways to counteract Debbie without a trade war. Daniel offers Max extra help with his Shakespeare course work but is turned down. Kevin has followed Tez and takes a photo of him taking delivery of a drugs consignment. Daniel praises Summer's revised personal statement. He tells her about his problem with Max and she offers to mentor him. Alya and Yasmeen decide to override Zeedan and ask Navid back. Alya is staggered to see that Zeedan has hired a food van, ready to take on Debbie. Leo calls in the Rovers and, convinced he's got the hots for Daisy, Jenny encourages the reluctant girl to chat to him. Tez catches Kevin taking another photo of him with a drugs sachet in his hand. Aadi isn't happy with Summer turns down a chance to spend time with him as she has to mentor Max. Jenny invites Leo to join her and Daisy in sampling some beers for a singles' night that she's suddenly had the idea of organising. James talks to Steve about the lack of black managers in the Premier League. Debbie is outraged when Zeedan and Alya set up their van in Viaduct Street and gain a queue of customers. They are unmoved by her threats. James rings County and pointing out the lack of black managers, suggests they should lead the way in training potential talent to fill the roles. Asha finds Nina is upbeat. Zeedan is unnerved when he returns to Speed Daal and finds Yasmeen chatting unwittingly to Hashim Elamin, his father-in-law, who is gran thinks is an old friend from London. Kevin tells Tez he doesn't believe him, and he thinks he knows where Abi is. He threatens to send the photos to his probation officer unless he talks. Hashim admits to Zeedan that he had him beaten up for leaving his daughter and threatens him again for stealing £50,000 from him.
