Plot[]

Part One: Imran tells Toyah that he can't meet her for lunch as he is too busy in the office. Tim blurts out the news about Corey's promotion in front of Nina as she's setting off for an interview at Weatherfield College. Imran prepares to meet Sabeen but is held up at the juvenile prison after Kelly accepts his offer to sit in on a session with the psychologist. Audrey asks Rita to send her the bill for the repairs and is surprised to learn that Gail has already offered to pay on her behalf. Meanwhile, Gail convinces David and Sarah to stage an intervention to get to the bottom of their gran's problem. Nina smashes the interview and is offered a place on the fashion textiles course. She's annoyed to read comments on County's website about how talented Corey is. Kevin wonders if his teammates know the full story.

Part Two: Toyah takes Michael's suggestion of sharing a takeaway lunch at the office with Imran. Sally is dismayed that the council haven't replied to her e-mails about the parking campaign. Kevin finds out from James that most of the players aren't aware of Corey's murder charge. He asks James to have a word with the club's manager as they deserve to know that they're playing with a murderer. Sally is incensed to see Councillor Cameron leaving his car in the street before catching a tram. He dismisses her complaints about clogging up a residential street, noting that his vehicle is legally parked. Adam asks Imran to help him with a client but Imran fobs him off as he goes to the Rovers to see Sabeen. On Gail's orders, David goes through Audrey's handbag and steals her car keys. The family insist that she'll get them back only after she gets an eye test. Toyah arrives at the office and is puzzled to find that Imran is not there. Adam tells her he's at the Rovers. Kevin decides to see the manager himself after James doesn't get anywhere with him. He hopes that if they get Corey kicked out of the club, Abi will find out and come home. Aadi advises Asha to accept that Nina has moved on before she makes a fool of herself. Toyah finds Imran in the Rovers yard. He tells her he's meeting a potential client there. Toyah thinks he's lying as Adam had complained about him not pulling his weight. She demands to know what's really going on.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, this episode was made with social distancing rules being observed by both cast and production crew. Exceptions were occasionally made for instances in which characters were required to be in close contact. These were made in accordance with the rules by employing measures such as more frequent testing and cast members bubbling up together prior to recording.
