Plot[]
Part One: Alya rings the bank and finds out that the call she took earlier wasn't from them. She realises that she unwittingly gave Speed Daal's account details to fraudsters. She decides not to tell Yasmeen while she tries to recover the money. Shona attempts to recruit Daniel to tutor Max after school hours to get his grades back up. Daniel says he can't as it would be seen as favouritism. Alya calls Zeedan and tells him about the scam. As Fiz prepares to meet Phill, Tyrone asks her if he's told her about 'Brigitte'. Taking Sharon's words to heart, Gary tells Maria he's going to visit Kelly and help with any appeals. Maria forbids him from having any more involvement with Kelly. The Nazirs are shocked when Zeedan turns up at Speed Daal.
Part Two: Yasmeen is puzzled when Zeedan says he's there to cheer her up after the scam. Alya is forced to tell her that the business is penniless. Yasmeen is annoyed at being kept in the dark and leaves Alya with orders to fix the mess they're in. When Fiz asserts that she trusts Phill, Tyrone takes matters into his own hands and asks the man in question who Brigitte is. Phill explains to Fiz that she's a chef who's making them a tasting menu for their date at a private table by the Red Rec bandstand; it was meant to be a surprise. Tyrone is left looking petty and jealous as they go off together. Freda feels betrayed when Gemma tells her that they're going ahead with Aled's operation. She accuses Gemma of letting Chesney decide for them. Alya is suspicious of Zeedan as he arrived so soon after her cry for help despite living in London. Freda urges Gemma to wait until Aled can decide for himself whether to get cochlear implants. Gemma assures her that she's not turning her back on the deaf world. Kevin adds insult to injury by taking Phill up on his County offer. He reminds Tyrone that he was the one who ended things with Fiz. Zeedan offers to transfer £50,000 to Speed Daal's account to tide them over. He explains that he's been staying at a mate's in Stockport and had planned to surprise Yasmeen. Alya isn't sure that she believes him.
