Plot[]
Part One: With Sarah in tow, Shona rushes back to No.8 to demand to know why Todd reported David to the police. He's as puzzled as they are. Rachel tries to convince Alina that her colleagues made her people-traffic and assures her that she had nothing to do with the fire. Interviewed at the station, Craig tells David that CCTV picked him up driving the car whose paint colour matched fragments that forensics picked up on Todd's clothing. Debbie tells Nick and Leanne she's binned their offer as she considered it insultingly low. Sarah berates Todd for his actions, asking aloud what happened to the kind boy she once fell in love with. He tells her it's too late for him to change now. Nina is shocked when Dev reveals to her that most of the donation money came from Asha selling her laptop. David is suddenly released under investigation as new evidence has come to light. Knowing that Shona has come back to the station, he worries that she's confessed. Tyrone passes on the news to Alina from the police that CCTV shows Rachel was at a hospital appointment at the time of the fire. Evelyn starts to grow suspicious as to who the real culprit was.
Part Two: David and Shona talk outside the police station, both puzzled as to what the new evidence is that exonerates them. Todd watches from nearby, smiling as he sees that the two of them are now free. Debbie tells Nick and Leanne she'd be willing to go into a 50-50 partnership with them, but neither is willing to give the other a realistic figure. Todd admits to David and Shona that he gave the police false evidence to get them off the hook and apologises for blackmailing them. They offer to let him stay but he's decided to leave the area for good. Shona thinks they should stop him. An angry Nina confronts Asha about her lie. Asha admits she did it because she still has feelings for her. Nina tells her to go. Abi tells Eileen she hates the mural. Shona and Sarah urge Eileen to stop Todd leaving. Saying she has lost her own son forever, Abi tells her to go and stop him. Daisy isn't impressed when Ryan books them a backpacker's hostel in central Val d'Isère as a surprise and is even less happy when he apologises to Alya for how he treated her. Eileen tells Todd she wants him to come home. Daisy's impressed when Daniel reveals that Denise has given him a house and looks at him in a new light. At night, Aadi finds Asha in a depressed state. She walks out of the house. As Nina draws in the cafe, someone trashes the memorial garden.
