Plot[]
Part One: It's 5.15am. David is wondering where Shona is when she comes in, wearing her night attire and in a panic. She saw there was a spare parking space outside the house and went out to move the car into it, although she's not supposed to drive. She thinks she might have hit someone, but she isn't certain. He insists they go out and check. Asha is also up and her movements have disturbed Dev. She claims she has a headache. Dev tells her about Seb's memorial garden. Aside from a dent in the car, David and Shona can't find anything wrong. A nervous Asha calls at the cafe and offers Nina help with the garden. She's touched and Asha's happy that they're friends again. Tyrone moves his things back into the salon flat. He lies to a suspicious Evelyn about Fiz and Hope being with Cilla. Ryan gets some good news about the job in Val d'Isère. Daisy insists they celebrate as a couple in Speed Daal. Lying about the cause, David asks Abi to fix the car. Eileen gets a call from Weatherfield General to say that Todd has been the victim of a hit and run and rushes to see him, telling Billy what's happened.
Part Two: On a mission, Asha hands out collection tins for the garden. Abi refuses one for the garage but Debbie makes a £40 contribution. A shocked David and Shona hear from Sarah about Todd. Debbie admits to Leanne that the bistro is struggling as it comes out of lockdown. Fiz rings Tyrone to say that they're in a B&B just outside of Manchester but she has no idea what her next plan is. Telling Dev about Debbie's contribution, Asha gets £50 out of her father. Toyah is angry when Dev implies that Kelly is guilty of the charges against her. Leanne admits to her sister that Nick has signed them up for all sorts of courses but she's not as enthused. David refuses to let Shona go to the police and says they're hiding the car somewhere until they know more. Ryan is unhappy as Daisy brings him into Speed Daal and shows him off to Alya as her new boyfriend. Nina is delighted to hear that Asha has somehow raised almost £400 already. Tyrone returns the keys to Alina and lies that he found them in his jacket pocket, so Fiz couldn't have taken them. She accepts the lie and plans to tell the police that Fiz is innocent. Having heard about Todd, Abi confronts David and Shona, saying she knows what they did.
