Plot[]
Part One: Todd rings a friend, trying to borrow a van to transport the heavy heat pump but his call has to be interrupted when Billy and Summer return from the cafe. He isn't pleased that Summer is hanging around with Will. Feeling guilty about George's broken wrist, Eileen calls at the undertakers and offers to help out. When George asks her to help him collect a body from the hospital, she's horrified. Eric Middleton, the deceased's son calls, tearful at the thought of his mother is still at the hospital and Eileen has no option but to agree. Paul discovers he hasn't been paid when the standing order for his rent doesn't go through. Ryan gets short shrift when he begs Alya for forgiveness. Ed admits to Paul that he's got a cashflow problem. Todd meets up with Will and tells him that he'll need his help to steal the heat pump. He fails to notice Will steal his engagement ring.
Part Two: Emma unsuccessfully tries to flatter Steve into appearing in the calendar. Curtis has an idea to persuade him. Billy notices Todd's missing ring. He quickly makes out he's having it resized. In the factory, Beth and Kirk grill Fiz about her date, but she refuses to discuss it. Todd demands his ring back, but Will tells him he'll get it when he hands over the cash. He refuses to help with the risky job of stealing the heat pump. Having collected the body and parked up the van with body in it outside No.11, Eileen invites George in for lunch. Curtis makes out to Steve that they’ve offered the Mr December top slot on the calendar to Dev. Jealous, he falls for his ploy and argues that he’d be much more suited. Unable to get his friend's van, Todd spots the undertaker's outside No.11. Maria urges Fiz to take Chris up on her offer and do the article as she'll find it therapeutic. Todd borrows the undertaker's van and lures Ed out of the builder's yard on the promise of a lucrative job to call on and discuss. Having been summoned by Alya, a hopeful Ryan heads to No.6 with flowers but is told he's only there to pick up his things. Eileen and George exit No.11 and discover, to their horror, that the van with the body in it has gone. As Todd sets about stealing the heat pump, Ed returns to the yard. Todd is quickly forced to hide as Ed finds the chain on the gates has been cut.
