Plot[]
Part One: Sam remains missing the following morning. Sharon stays close to the Platts in case Nick gets in touch. Nick sets off home upon hearing that Sam still hasn't been found. Trapped in the van, Sam listens to the radio to pass the time and eats Robbie's packed lunch. Emma is thrilled when a handsome stranger, Curtis Delamere, helps her move some beer barrels into the Rovers cellar. The lad gives her his number when she offers to buy him a drink later as a thank-you. Cathy plans to get Yasmeen and Elaine doing yoga with her and orders mats for them all. Elaine is amenable to the idea but Yasmeen isn't and admits to Alya that she's starting to crave solitude. Alya advises her to tell her housemates before they get too comfortable. DS Podmore, investigating Sam's disappearance, questions Sharon about her relationship with Harvey. As they're alone, she's open about being his aunt. Seeing Nick sneak into No.8, Sharon rings her nephew to tell him that the plan has worked. Harvey orders Robbie to get rid of Sam as Nick is their target now.
Part Two: Tyrone feels the financial strain as he picks up fancy coffee cups for Alina on the same day he has to buy new shoes for Hope and Ruby. Evelyn shows him no sympathy, thoroughly disapproving of her grandson's life choices. Natasha feels certain that Harvey's gang have got Sam and blames Nick for putting him in harm's way. Curtis meets Emma at the Rovers and is recognised by Steve as the man who knocked him off his bike at the race. Daisy asks Ronnie to mentor her in running her own business. Met with disinterest, she secures his cooperation by revealing her knowledge of his fling with Jenny. Emma isn't able to be alone with Curtis as Steve argues with the lad about the race. Robbie picks up the van, with Sam still inside. Tyrone admits to Dev that he's barely keeping his head above water. Dev offers him a solution. Elaine and Cathy become hysterical when they spot a mouse at No.6. Amy makes Steve realise that he ruined Emma's date with his behaviour. The police arrive at No.8. Nick and Natasha prepare themselves for the worst.
