Plot[]
Part One: George considers buying the community centre to use as a funeral parlour. Dev masks his disappointment when Aadi and Asha only get him a card for his birthday, unaware that they're organising a secret birthday meal at the bistro. Nina tells Asha she can't go as Roy has asked her to mind the cafe. Dismayed by Jenny's unwavering loyalty towards Johnny, Daisy takes her stepmum's phone. Yasmeen opens a County Court judgement and goes into a state of panic, convinced she's being locked up again. Nick tells Toyah it's up to her to get through to Leanne as he has to prioritise Sam. George picks the wrong moment to tell Yasmeen that he's interested in the community centre, catching her as she's scuttling over to Speed Daal in a frenzied state to tell Alya about the letter.
Part Two: Alya assures her gran that she won't go back to prison and promises to sort out a repayment plan. Eileen berates George for his insensitivity with Yasmeen. Jenny is surprised when Neil, the man she met at the bistro, comes into the Rovers. Aadi gives Dev his real present of a round of golf at a top club, while Nina helps Asha make a photo album of Sunita. Tim calls at Speed Daal with the paperwork for the transfer of Geoff's assets. Still fretting about her debts, Yasmeen tells him to sign them over to someone else as she'll soon be going back to prison anyway. Neil asks Jenny to go for a drink with him but she turns him down, explaining that she's married. Neil asks why she messaged him then, causing Jenny to realise that Daisy's been playing cupid. Yasmeen runs from Speed Daal as she starts to crack under the strain. Aadi hears Roy thanking Nina for volunteering to hold the fort and asks her why she lied to Asha. Roy is equally annoyed that she's involved him in her deception and Nina is tongue-tied for once. Struggling to breathe, Yasmeen locks herself in the house and clutches her chest.
