Plot[]

Part One: As another day dawns, Kevin and Debbie use what little energy they have left to stay awake. Simon sees that Leanne draws comfort from using a TV psychic and decides not to stand in her way. Tyrone hates being treated like a pensioner by Fiz and Evelyn. Abi puzzles over the signed contract, wondering why Debbie left such an important document on the floor. Billy puts the money raised from selling the pews towards a halfway house. Paul is upset to see him and Todd chatting away in the cafe. Abi tells Jack not to worry about his dad. Michael looks into birthing options for Grace. He plans to be there for the birth and is surprised when Ed tells him that he didn't see any of his children being born. Leanne has a relapse when she receives a call from the leisure centre regarding swimming lessons for Oliver. Abi is sure that the answer to Kevin's whereabouts lies in the bistro and asks Faye to help her log into the office laptop. With hypothermia taking hold, Kevin and Debbie drift in and out of consciousness.

Part Two: Faye has reservations about returning to the place where Ray assaulted her but puts them aside to help Abi. Paul believes that Billy and Todd are close to reconciling and quits Underworld so he doesn't have to watch it happen. Tyrone buys a yoga mat and signs up for lessons, angering Fiz who reminds him about the debt they owe Gary. Grace calls Michael out on his presumptuousness regarding the birth; she doesn't know what she wants yet. Simon tries to get Leanne to talk to her loved ones, sick of carrying the burden alone. Paul considers leaving Weatherfield to get away from Billy and Todd. Ed offers to take him on as a labourer after Bernie encourages her son not to let himself be driven away. Paul's keen to work for Ed until he finds out it's for a contract converting the archdeacon's house into the halfway house. Jacob offers Simon another job delivering drugs. Simon promises to think about it. Faye gets onto Debbie's laptop but doesn't find anything useful. The mystery deepens when she notices that Debbie's left her handbag in the office with her phone and purse inside. Clocking the missing door handle on the fridge, Abi bangs on the door to find out if Kevin's inside. Kevin uses his last breath to kick a rack, alerting the women to their presence.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, this episode was made with social distancing rules being observed by both cast and production crew, even when they were playing family members or people who shared residences. For scenes in which Kevin and Debbie Webster huddle together inside the Viaduct Bistro fridge, actors Michael Le Vell and Sue Devaney were required to form a bubble prior to filming to allow closer contact [1].
