Plot[]
Part One: Summer runs from the flat into the path of an oncoming car. Billy, Paul and Todd see her sprawled on the ground as they return from court. Billy calls an ambulance. Will flees while everyone is distracted but is spotted by all three men. Peter admits to Carla that he's going through withdrawal as he poured his last allotment of medicinal whisky down the sink after Ken left the room. Carla fears he's heading for another seizure. Paul gives Craig a description of the burglar but doesn't say that he knows him. Peter believes that once he starts drinking, he won't be able to stop. Asha and Nina enjoy working together. After their shift, Asha responds to Nina's words of encouragement by kissing her. Nina is taken by surprise but doesn't mind. Roy interrupts them and, oblivious to the charged atmosphere, confirms that he'll take Asha on permanently. Kelly throws Jacob Hay a look of recognition when she sees him with Simon. She's dubious when Simon tells her Jacob has his back.
Part Two: Summer only has a sprained wrist and a concussion. Inspecting the trashed flat, Billy is puzzled as nothing seems to have been taken. Paul admits that it wasn't a burglary and Will was the intruder, having presumably done this to get back at him for freezing him out. Tyrone runs from the house when Alina enters the living room wearing only a skimpy towel. Billy thinks Paul told Will where they live and says he's a threat to Summer. Simon sorts the flat out with a prepaid electricity meter. Leanne is grateful to him. Fiz thinks Tyrone's embarrassment is hilarious. A shaking Peter downs the whisky Carla puts in front of him. Realising things can't go on as they are, he decides to talk to the alcohol liaison nurse and ask to be interred in hospital. Todd pays Will off and orders him to throw away the burner phone they've been using to communicate, wanting nothing more to do with him. Will tosses it into one of the Coronation Street bins.
