Plot[]
Part One: Sally tells Kevin and Abi about the attempted rape. Ray is released from police custody pending an investigation. He keeps Debbie on side by lying that everything between him and Faye was consensual. Sean spoils Dylan before putting him on a train back to London. Dylan isn't happy with his dad's plan to speak to his school about the bullying. Sean decides to get a place of his own and tells Dylan he can live with him if the bullying carries on and Violet agrees. Needing every penny he can get, he asks Chesney for his £85 commission from their Christmas market takings. DS Willets gives Adam an opportunity to change his statement. Adam realises there's been a development and reminds Willets that he never directly accused Gary of attacking him. Yasmeen returns to work at Speed Daal but has trouble focusing on the job at hand. She catches herself telling Alya not to make a mess as Geoff won't like it. Nick has a restless night due to Gail's white noise app. Gail bags a cleaning job at Underworld when she points out that she can do the work after hours, giving Nick time alone with Sam. Faye, Abi and Alya are devastated to find out that Ray is a free man. Adam assumes that if his attacker wasn't Gary, it must have been Peter. He and Sarah are amazed when Faye confesses to the assault.
Part Two: They go easy on her when she explains why she did it, with Adam being more concerned that he'll get done for lying to the police and be finished as a solicitor. Kirk presses Chesney to repay the money he loaned him for the kids' Christmas. Alya tells the police about her own dealings with Ray in the hope that it'll lend more weight to Faye's case. As she and Abi wonder how many past victims of Ray there are, Abi gets an idea. Ray continues to stall the Metcalfes and Nazirs over completion of the sales of Nos. 4 and 6. Alya hopes that routine will help Yasmeen feel like herself again. Gemma asks Chesney to pay the electricity out of their market earnings. Chesney is about to admit the truth when Beth rings Gemma and tells her about the loan. Abi questions the staff at the Chariot Square Hotel in hope of digging some dirt on Ray. As she's examining a staff list, Ray and the chairperson Susan walk into the room. Hidden behind the bar, Abi secretly records their conversation, including all the details of Ray's bung to Susan.
