Part One: Faye is interviewed by DS Willets. She tells him that Gary is innocent and confessed in order to protect her. Craig lets the Metcalfes know she's handed herself in. Ray desperately tries to stop the house sales falling through. Debbie blames him for the mess they're in and begins to rethink their partnership. Dylan admits to Sean that he's being bullied at school because his dad's gay. Ryan hires a removal van for Yasmeen. She's happy to leave No.6 as she'll be free of the ghost of Geoff. Alya gets a call from the solicitor saying Ray can't complete the sale today. Dylan refuses to go back home. Tim isn't allowed to chaperone Faye as she's over eighteen. Alya tells the Platts about Ray's cash flow problems and rings Sally at the station. Faye goes over her attempted rape by Ray and how she went back to the bistro and clobbered Adam, thinking he was Ray. She's told that Gary could still face charges for perverting the course of justice.

Part Two: Tim thinks Craig coerced Faye into confessing in order to make himself look good in front of his superiors. David considers remaining at No.8 but Ray reminds him that he already owns the house and threatens to send in heavies if he doesn't vacate the property today. Faye is released pending formal charges. Playing down his money troubles, Ray tells the Nazirs to be out by tomorrow morning. His bullying attitude reminds Yasmeen of Geoff and she stands up to him, saying she's not leaving her house until he's paid her. The Platts leave No.8, with the other families remaining in their homes for another night. Yasmeen realises she was letting herself be chased out of her home because of Geoff and decides to fight back. Alya is proud to see the old Yasmeen emerging. Ray is arrested on suspicion of attempted rape. Faye calls Gary to tell him what she's done as she watches Ray being carted off in a police car.

  • TV Times synopsis: Dylan finally opens up to Sean; and in the police interview room, Faye explains how she attacked Adam Barlow thinking he was Ray Crosby.
  • Viewing Figures: First UK broadcast: 6,784,088 viewers (10th place).
