Plot[]

Part One: Sally hears Faye being sick in the bathroom. The girl claims it's something she ate but Tim and Sally see that something is very wrong with her when the rucksack is mentioned again. Sally suggests he gets a visiting order and questions Gary about what's really going on. Ken can't raise Peter on his mobile. He feels guilty for sending him away. Aadi is suited up, ready to conduct Cathy and Bernie's performance development review. Asha announces she's split up from Corey. Dev is sympathetic towards her, but he and his son are secretly delighted. Seb accepts an offer to move into No.13. Roy brings Carla a brunch into work when he sees she's missed her breakfast, worrying about Peter. She confides in him that he's in his worst state ever she's ever seen him in. Faye snaps at Craig when he asks her why DS Willets was calling at No.4. Daisy's annoyed to find Jenny's agreed to rent out the spare room to Emma but manages to mask her anger at it until Alina asks if she can live there too and then she puts her foot down, claiming so many females under one roof will cause trouble. Roy tells Abi that Imran has come up with a way that might prevent the development. Susan, the head of the planning committee, rings Ray with the news that Roy has applied for a judicial review. Faye panics and confides in Maria that she might be pregnant.

Part Two: Faye says that only Ray can be the father. She refuses to tell her dad. Maria invites her to stay a few nights with her while she organises a pregnancy test, using the cover story that she's lonely by herself with Gary in prison. Debbie's incredulous when Ray admits that he bribed Susan to agree the development, pointing out he could end up in prison. When Alina tells Tyrone she'd like to accept his offer to move into No.9, Fiz is less than impressed that he didn't consult her. Bernie and Cathy are highly amused when Aadi approaches them for their reviews. Sally wonders what's going on when Faye packs a bag, and she alerts Tim. Simon tries to find where Peter is. Tracy has to cover and lies that he's staying with a navy friend in Wigan. Steve demands that she's truthful with him about Peter and stop trying to protect him from stress. Fiz can't bring herself to tell Alina she can't stay when she presents her with pamper-packs she has made for her, Evelyn and the girls. Tim calls at Maria's flat, demanding to know from her what's really going on. He spots the pregnancy testing kit. Ken rings Peter again. Steve hears the phone's ringtone from outside the back and finds Peter unconscious in one of the Mawdsley Street yards, next to an empty whisky bottle.

Part Three: Tim thinks Craig has got Faye pregnant. Maria realises he needs to hear the truth, but it must come from Faye herself. Ray tries to scare Roy into dropping the review, saying it could cost him £100,000 and bankrupt him. Roy throws him out of the cafe. With Peter upstairs in bed, Dr Gaddas explains that he's suffering from hypothermia and needs warmth and rest. Dev sees that Aadi has done well with the kebab shop, doing role plays with the staff about how difficult customers are dealt with. Realising the game is up, Faye plucks up the courage and tells Tim about how Ray tried to rape her, how she attacked Adam thinking he was Ray, and how Gary is covering for her. Raging, Tim wants to go in search of Ray but Maria and Faye prevent him. Tracy agrees to Steve's idea that he goes on a training weekend in the Peak District. Tim can't hold himself back and goes looking for Ray, uttering threats. Faye's test is negative.

Part Four: Tim promises he's going to put everything right. Abi and Evelyn think Roy is wrong to take the financial risk. Tim visits Gary in prison and tells him that he knows everything, and they need to go to the police. Gary insists that for Faye's sake, they must keep a lid on it, but he has plans for Ray when he gets out. A van pulls up next to Ray on Rosamund Street and two masked men approach him. Aadi tells his sister that she's an amazing person and far too good for the likes of Corey. Alina proves a godsend for Fiz in helping with the girls. Peter refuses to stay at No.1 and to Ken's horror, he heads out. Tim tells Faye he has a solution - they're all going to move to Spain.

  • Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, this episode was made with social distancing rules being observed by both cast and production crew, even when they were playing family members or people who shared residences.
