Plot[]
Part One: Leanne lies to Nick, claiming she's just got back from France after a bumpy flight. Simon stays silent. Faye confides in Maria that living with the guilt is making her ill and she'd rather own up to her crime. Maria tells her that without proof, Gary will be free soon. Nick tells Leanne he's struggling too and his demeanour is just a front. Peter puts up arguments against having a transplant, as the family point out how Tracy benefitted from having a new kidney from Samir Rachid. Gary helps Johnny settle in. With Nick gone, Simon urges Leanne to see that he's suffering too. But when Leanne retorts that Oliver wasn't his son, Simon flinches and Leanne's mortified at her words. Daniel urges Peter to at least consider a test. A hopeful Asha suggests to Corey they could do something nice for her birthday but is disappointed when it's clear all he's interested in is sex. Daniel tells Adam about the latest developments with Peter. Simon hides the extent of Leanne's problems from Peter. He in turn lies to his son that the appointment at the hospital went well. Johnny is prescribed with steroids by the neurologist. With Imran not available, Peter asks Adam for legal advice regarding his state of health.
Part Two: Gary calls Maria from prison who tells him how much Faye is struggling. He tells her about Johnny's appointment with the neurologist. Peter instructs Adam to draw up an "Advance Decision to Refuse Treatment" declaration, insisting he isn't deserving of a transplant and refuses to listen to any pleas to consider differently. Nina cheers Asha up when she gifts her a choker just like the one she wears. Jenny hears from Maria about Johnny's real state of health. She's hurt that she's been kept in the dark. Adam tells Ken about Peter's professional visit to him. Simon allows Leanne one sleeping pill but hides the bottle as a precaution. Ken implores Peter to consider Daniel's offer and not to throw his life away.
