Plot[]
Part One: Jenny and Carla support Johnny in court. Imran pleads for the judge to show leniency on the grounds that Johnny hasn't reoffended and prison would put his health at risk. Kelly is stood up by Simon. Corey eyes up the schoolgirl at Speed Daal. An embarrassed Leanne is discharged from hospital, planning on isolating herself in the flat once more. The judge imposes a custodial sentence of eight months on Johnny. Johnny tells Jenny not to visit him as he's led away. Dev sees the twins' mock results. He's sad that Asha didn't feel able to confide in him her struggles and promises to be there for her in future. David tells Ray he's not taking the house. Ray gleefully reveals that the contract he signed obliges him to pay rent on the property, even if he's not living there. Nick is surprised to hear that Simon didn't show up for his date with Kelly. Leanne still isn't ready to face the world and asks Simon to pretend to everyone that she's still in France.
Part Two: Simon signals his compliance when Nick stops by the flat looking for him and Simon claims responsibility for the mess, saying he's been hiding out in the flat while Leanne's away. He makes out that he chickened out of meeting Kelly. Nick is concerned as the mess includes empty liquor bottles and Simon is underage. After he leaves, Simon vows to look after Leanne like she has always done for him. Jenny is distraught by Johnny's sentence, convinced he won't last the eight months. Aggie is horrified by Michael and Grace's plan to raise their child together. She gives her grudging approval when Michael tells his mum that Grace is family now. Carla tells Jenny that Johnny didn't mean what he said in court though Daisy says she's better off without him. Kelly rings Simon asking why he didn't show up. He pretends he's ill and asks for another chance. With Summer's encouragement, she tells Simon not to call her again.
