Plot[]
Part One: Gary counters by asking Sarah what she was doing out at that time of night. She warns him that he's not going to get away with it. Ray's furious with Debbie for failing to consult him about the revised development. Carla begs Peter to let her help him, but Simon makes it clear she's no longer welcome in their lives. Picking up her holdall of belongings, she heads out crying, and makes her way to the cafe. The residents start to bicker as Abi and David consider that everything's lost while Gary and Roy think there are still options to explore. A livid Ray tells Debbie that he makes the decisions. Todd scans the helpline website and suggests to Paul that he'd like to sign up as a volunteer too. Daniel overhears a crying Sarah talking sweetly to an unconscious Adam, begging him to wake up. Seeing she is genuine, he apologises for suspecting her. Simon fusses round his grateful dad and talks about his hatred of Carla. Tim recounts his childhood to a happy Elaine. Adam's alarms suddenly go off and the medical staff rush to his room. Simon takes a tin of paint out of his rucksack and puts it in the ginnel bin. Shona catches him.
Part Two: Shona thinks Simon is hiding empty drinks bottles and promises not to say anything. She apologises for being too outspoken but also says he shouldn't let Carla get away with anything. Adam is sedated again. Daniel threatens revenge on whoever attacked him. Elaine assures Tim that she'll always be there for him, but they should take things more slowly. At her prompting, Tim suggests to Faye that now she's out of work, they should resurrect their family window cleaning round. Roy takes Simon to task when he is rude to him and Carla in the cafe. Billy is cynical about Todd's sudden desire to volunteer and admits to Paul he's suspicious of his motives. Sarah talks to an unconscious Adam, saying she should never have let the matter of Gary and Rick come between them. Kevin rejects Debbie's offer of trying to get his garage back for him. Sarah calls Crimestoppers and tells them that she knows where a corpse is buried and who put it there.
