Plot[]
Part One: Painting himself as an innocent victim of unprovoked aggression, Geoff takes a selfie of his bloodied nose. He tells Tim it will weaken any testimony he gives against him in court. Faye is uncomfortable having had sex with Ray. Steve gets up again. Tracy tells him how Leanne is planning a celebration of Oliver's life. Showing little interest, he heads back to bed. Ray drives Faye back to the street. She tries to avoid talking to Abi or Craig. Nick confides his troubles with Leanne to David. Imran carries out last-minute preparations for Yasmeen's trial. A cold and tired Johnny returns, much to Jenny's relief. Abi confides in Craig that she doesn't trust Ray and Craig reveals that he saw some incriminating paperwork on his desk, but he won’t go into any details. Ray and Debbie are told that the pre-planning permission for the development has been accepted in principle. Debbie warns him that Abi is on to him but he thinks she's too late to do any harm now. Abi goes into the bistro and, seeing no one in the bar or office, starts to rifle through Ray's desk. Shona offers to take Simon out in Sarah's car. Ray finds Abi in his office. He threatens her with the police and she leaves, but with an incriminating document secreted on her.
Part Two: Leanne tells Nick that she'd welcome his support at Oliver's funeral but after that, they need to work out the terms of their separation. At No.13, Abi shows Kevin and Sally the invoice she found in Ray's office. Having called a colleague on the council, Sally confirms that a planning application has been submitted to knock down half the street. Debbie is shocked to find out how much they have discovered. Johnny tells Jenny he's been sent for trial in three weeks where he'll plead guilty. Jenny tells him that he's failed in his plan to make her hate him and she's not turning her back on him. Imran and Alya are horrified to hear that Tim punched Geoff and point out that he's no longer a credible witness. Debbie listens in horror as Kevin, Sally and Abi successfully add two and two together. They resolve to get further proof to oppose Ray. Tim takes a call from DS Abney telling him that they've found Elaine but she's been admitted to a psychiatric ward, Alya realises her gran's defence is well and truly scuppered. Tracy begs Leanne not to turn on Steve and give him more time to be involved in the funeral. David counsels Shona how not to say or do anything that people find offensive. Debbie warns Ray that Abi is onto them but, having sunk all her money in the project, she's damned if she's going to let her ruin their plans.
