Plot[]

Part One: Steve and Leanne prepare to say goodbye to Oliver. Jenny implores Johnny to deny everything Margaret says if she goes to the police. Simon is devastated that Leanne has dropped the appeal. Jenny receives a call from her stepdaughter Daisy Midgeley saying she's stopping by with her boyfriend Lee on their way to Edinburgh. She's delighted as she hasn't seen her for years. Johnny thinks they have enough on their plate. Alya questions why Geoff's "magic show" kept him out all night. He tells her it was in Nottingham and he won't be in work today because of a hospital appointment. Johnny asks Adam for help. Leanne softens towards Nick when he arrives at the hospital to support her. Dr Howarth takes them through the procedure for switching off Oliver's systems and ending his life.

Part Two: Alya tells Tim she suspects Geoff is keeping Elaine prisoner in Oldham. They decide to search No.6 for clues, getting a key from under a plant pot in the garden. Steve wonders what sort of dad he is for allowing his son to die. Nick tells him that he's giving Oliver peace. Johnny starts divorce proceedings. Jenny doesn't take him seriously at first as she's busy getting lunch ready for Daisy. Having fetched Oliver's favourite toys, Leanne forgets his dinosaur pyjamas and returns to the flat with Nick to fetch them. As Daisy and Lee arrive at the Rovers, Johnny makes little effort to be a good host. Leanne breaks down when she finds Oliver's wet pyjamas in the washing machine. She insists on waiting until they're dry. Johnny wants to talk about his and Jenny's future but can't because of their guests. He hurts Jenny by saying he misses Liz as she was fun and easy-going, unlike Jenny. Daisy hears them argue from the hallway. Bringing their argument into the public, the Connors go through all the bad things that have happened to them since they got married. Daisy's embarrassed for Jenny. At No.6, Tim finds a taxi receipt for Pickford Street in Oldham. Geoff returns unexpectedly with his girlfriend, Christine. Oliver's pyjamas are still damp after a cycle in the tumble dryer. Leanne demands they wait a little longer. Nick realises that she's stalling as she can't face Oliver's death.
