Plot[]
Part One: Leanne brands her legal team as gutless cowards and vows to find someone else to represent her. Adam does the school run for Sarah as his wife attempts to coerce Shona into letting her inside No.8. Toyah assures Leanne that she doesn't agree with Imran and Elliot. Alya tries to cheer Yasmeen up by telling her that Tim has decided to testify against his father. Yasmeen reminds her that, even if she's found not guilty, Geoff is still living in her house. Jenny fills Carla in on Johnny's past life of crime with Scott and what happened to the security guard. Sarah gains admittance to No.8 by agreeing to let Shona take her clothes shopping. Paula also refuses to represent Leanne. Leanne fervently rings up solicitors trying to find someone willing to do so. Geoff is furious to receive a letter from the court of protection telling him that he no longer has power of attorney over Yasmeen. Johnny discovers that Carla knows the truth about him.
Part Two: Leanne struggles to find another solicitor. At Speed Daal, Todd reminisces with Summer and Billy in an effort to make Paul feel left out. Toyah tells Leanne that enough is enough; she's done all she can and it's time to face reality. Leanne turns on her sister when she admits that she knew Imran was going to pull out and didn't try and argue her case. Leanne concludes that the only person Oliver can rely on is her. Sarah forgives Adam for cheating on her and they reconcile. Todd buys tickets to a Sam Fender gig for a grateful Summer, Billy and Paul. Once alone, he calls someone offering them work. Johnny tells Carla he's a coward for not facing the consequences of his actions. Carla reminds him that she ran off to LA when Tony had Liam killed. They discuss what it takes to push someone over the edge. Thinking of Peter's alcoholism, Carla confesses to cheating on him and says she's as good as killed him if he finds out the truth.
