Plot[]
Part One: Simon can't understand how the judgement was made against Oliver. Peter tries to reassure him about the success of any appeal and is annoyed when Carla steps in and tries to make him see the reality of the situation. Tracy thinks things will be tense at the hospital when she and Steve visit Oliver. Peter and Carla argue about what she said. She bitterly accuses him of only taking an interest in Oliver recently and he throws back in her face her jealousy of Leanne as she hasn't a child of her own to love. A mass consignment of beauty products from Double Glammy are delivered to No's 3 and 11. Sean is put out by Michael's enthusiasm to outsell him. Leanne throws accusations in Steve's face of giving up on his son when he arrives at the hospital. Ray asks Craig's advice on stepping up his security at the bistro and he promises to call in later with some advice gleaned from a new police initiative. Carla won't take Peter's offered olive branch and they argue again, this time over her miscarriage. Leanne meets up with Imran and Elliot to discuss her appeal, but Imran warns her that Steve needs to be fully on board to face any chance of success.
Part Two: Selling door-to-door, Michael tries to hawk his products unsuccessfully to Gemma. She's worried about her bills and Eileen promises to rummage through the attic for Jason and Todd's old things for Joseph. Unable to contact Howard Lee for support, Peter tries to ring Carla but she ignores the call. Leanne breaks down when Steve promises not to oppose the appeal, but he won't support it either. Carla has another go at Adam for coming onto Alina. He suggests she's jealous. Eileen refuses to let Sean have a make-up party in the house and he decides to ask Alya if he can use Speed Daal instead. She tells him and an amused Todd that Mary has finished with George. Todd thinks the way is clear for her now. Craig starts his inspection of the bistro. While Ray is distracted by a call, Faye shows him into the office to wait. Imran and Elliot advise Steve on all the next steps involved in the appeal process. Ray enters the office to find Craig studying the plans for the redevelopment of the street and the surrounding area. A thug approaches Peter and demands his phone with menaces.
