Plot[]

Part One: After stepping down, Leanne realises she's weakened their case with her admission that Oliver's reactions could be involuntary. She breaks down, thinking she's signed Oliver's death warrant. Carla smooths things over with the client and gently tells Sarah to buck her ideas up. A reporter from the Gazette tries to get a scoop from Amy and Emma but Fiz sees her off. Carla tells Alina that Sarah still loves Adam, however much she may deny it. She advises Alina not to get caught in the crossfire. Toyah lets Nick see Oliver as long as he's gone by the time Leanne gets back. She shocks him by suggesting he switches off Oliver's life support machine, as what he's advocating amounts to the same thing. Steve takes the witness box and testifies that it's the hospital's duty to save Oliver, which means giving him the time he needs for an effective treatment to be found. Todd invites Paul to lunch to get to know each other. Paul declines as he's meeting Billy. Amy and Emma get Simon the new FIFA as a thank-you for standing up for Oliver. Nick thinks he and Leanne are finished as he no longer sees love in her eyes when he looks at her.

Part Two: The Trust Barrister and Elliot Newell makes their closing statements. Todd asks Billy if he can see Summer when she returns from Geraldine's. Billy says it's up to Summer. Oliver's hearing is adjourned. Adam presses Alina for an answer regarding their date. She tells him that she doesn't want to get involved. An emotionally drained Leanne is furious to see Nick at the hospital and blames Toyah for letting him see Oliver. She tells him to go home and play with Sam. Adam's annoyed to learn that Carla warned Alina off him and accuses her of hypocrisy as she used Daniel to get back at Peter. Steve and Leanne await the judge's verdict.
