Plot[]

Part One: The Connors open the pub as normal as they wait for the police to come for Johnny. Emma pretends to be surprised that Scott was the bistro shooter. Abi puts Kevin up to asking Debbie how long she's stopping. Debbie thinks Kevin is letting Abi walk all over him. Michael goes for a job interview as he wants to get away from sales. Sean promises to take Dylan to a County match when Dylan indicates that he'd rather hang out with Aadi than him. Abi asks Debbie why she's still around as she doesn't seem to do much. Debbie reminds her that she pays Kevin rent, unlike Abi. Emma confesses to Alina that she accepted hush money from Scott. Alina tells her that she has to get it back from Imran. Michael drops by the hospital on the way to his interview to give Aggie her phone. While there, he runs into Grace, flanked by two prison officers. He's stunned when Grace tells him that she's pregnant with his baby.

Part Two: Johnny feels guilty when Kirk heaps praise on him for shopping his own mate to the police. Emma is left with a difficult choice when Amy tells her that her donation has really lifted Steve's spirits. Corey treats Asha to new trainers when Dev refuses to fork out. Aadi continues to slag Corey off but Asha thinks he's just bitter about not having a girlfriend. Grace tells Michael she's just had her twelve-week scan. He believes she is trying to manipulate him again and storms off. The police have still not arrived to arrest Johnny. Jenny declares Scott a forbidden subject and insists that Johnny put him out of his mind before he makes himself ill with guilt. Abi sees Debbie enter the bistro when she's supposed to be at a meeting. She makes Kevin ring Debbie and ask where she is. As expected, Debbie lies, saying she's in town with a client. Abi leads Kevin to the bistro to catch her out. Debbie confesses that she's homeless, penniless and jobless, living off a loan from a friend. She trusted the wrong man and lost everything. The police arrive in the street to question Emma.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, this episode was made with social distancing rules being observed by both cast and production crew, even when they were playing family members or people who shared residences.
First appearance of Aggie Bailey since 31st July 2020. Excluding video calls, this marks her first appearance since 13th July 2020.
The main entrance to MediaCity studios doubled as the exterior of Weatherfield General.
