Aadi invites Dylan to play football with him and Dev on the Red Rec. Not interested in sport, Sean refuses to join in. Alya visits Yasmeen and passes on her suspicions that Geoff is lining up his next victim. Yasmeen urges her granddaughter to do everything she can to stop him. Scott calls into the Rovers with a holdall. Jenny tells him that Johnny has confessed everything. Evelyn carries on trying to put on a brave face but is thrown when Toyah tells her that she saw Arthur in the hospital's neurology department earlier on in the day. Jenny and Scott exchange bitter words. Scott enjoys telling her how Johnny left a security guard for dead. She's horrified but neither of them notice a shocked Emma in the hallway, who's heard every word. When Scott's back is turned, Emma sneaks a glance in his holdall and sees the handgun. Scott catches her in the act.

Part Two: Scott offers Emma £5,000 towards Oliver's fund to buy her silence. Ryan and Alya see that Geoff is dressed in an expensive new shirt. Evelyn summons Arthur to see her, worried that something is wrong with him. He tells her that it's his wife, Beryl, who is ill. Before Jenny can say anything, Johnny voluntarily confesses to hurting Grant Newsome in the warehouse job. She's furious that he lied to her earlier that day. Johnny opens up to her about his guilt and his determination to tell all to the police. Jenny's appalled. Hearing Geoff making an appointment to meet a woman, Alya decides to follow him. Abi wonders what the exact nature of Debbie's business is. Arthur tells Evelyn how his wife had a stroke four years earlier and is in a permanent unresponsive state. He asks for her forgiveness for not being honest from the start.

Part Three: Alya sees Geoff buying flowers from the corner shop before heading to the bistro. Evelyn's unable to forgive Arthur and walks off. Alya follows Geoff into the bistro and throws accusations at him, but is brought up short when she sees that his dinner date is elderly lady Doris Braithwaite who is one of his hospital radio fans. She sings Geoff's praises, and he demands an apology from Alya. A nervous and guilty Emma meets up with Scott in the ginnel and he hands her the money. He then sees Johnny watching on as Kirk brings Craig back home before getting in his car. Dylan finds Sean embarrassing. PC Edmondson calls to see Alya and warns her that Geoff has made a complaint about her for harassment. Ryan tells her to keep away from Geoff from now onwards. Emma tells a grateful Steve that she's had a windfall from money owed to her dad and given it to the fund. Jenny finds a note from Johnny, explaining he's gone to the police station to tell the truth. She tries to call him, but Scott has entered the pub through the back door.

Debbie makes out that her business venture is taking longer than expected and she'll be staying for the foreseeable. Abi wonders if they'll ever be rid of her. Roy and Evelyn enjoying bickering over a game of Scrabble together. Johnny rushes back, trying to convince Scott that he bottled out of telling the police anything but the wail of approaching sirens tells a different story. Geoff meets up with his new and oblivious girlfriend, Christine, in a hotel bar, and lays on the charm. Scott holds Johnny and Jenny at gunpoint, threatening them both as he knows he'll be sent down for life this time. Johnny talks him out of doing anything stupid. Promising Johnny that he'll tell the police everything that he's done in the past to take him down with him, Scott goes outside and surrenders to the armed police.
