Plot[]

Part One: Johnny staggers to the phone box and makes an anonymous call to the police. Pointing his gun at Faye, Scott orders a fuming Ray to hand over the cash. Craig hears the emergency call over his radio. Aware he should wait for backup, but fearing for Faye's safety, he sets off alone. Dr Howarth explains that Oliver's response to the noise was just an involuntary reflex. Beth thinks her son has the hots for someone and worries that he might get hurt by any rejection. Craig enters the bistro. Grabbing the cash, Scott tries to leave with Faye as hostage, but Craig prepares to jump him. The gun goes off and Craig slumps to the floor holding his shoulder as Scott runs off. Over dinner, Todd tries to belittle George, but he gives him short shrift, whilst at the same time finding Mary annoying. Alya runs a credit check on Yasmeen and is shocked to see a series of unpaid loans against her name. Imran thinks that if Geoff has committed any frauds in her name, it could go in her favour. Jenny finds Johnny in a bad state in the back room and demands an explanation. He tries to tell her the secret he's been carrying for months, but she jumps to the conclusion that he's been hiding the deterioration in his health from her and tells him it will make no difference to her. Craig is taken to hospital, falling unconscious from the pain.

Part Two: Alya and Imran visit Yasmeen who admits that Geoff most likely duped her into signing the forms and, not only that, but having signed half the house over to him too, she can't use that to pay the legal fees. A panicking Beth fetches Kirk from the Rovers and Johnny learns about the shooting. Trying to buoy Leanne up, Nick suggests that from now they note down all of Oliver's responses in the hope that it will prove to the doctors he's not a lost cause. Faye tells Beth that Craig was there for her. She realises who her son fancies. Mary's convinced Todd's just concerned for her in the way he treats George. Eileen masks her concern. The online quiz takes place, but Johnny distracts Jenny when he suddenly leaves the pub and she runs off to find him, killing the connection. Evelyn suggests to Arthur that rather than just a weekend away, they should have longer. Arthur's taken aback and making a lame excuse, rushes out leaving Evelyn devastated. Johnny and Scott meet in the ginnel. Scott tells him that if Craig dies it will be his fault for not keeping to the plan.
