Plot[]
Part One: Todd reminds Billy how good they were together and suggests he doesn't really want to be with Paul, saying he's only enjoying a bit of rough. Billy is livid with Todd, saying he's well shot of him, but as he heads out, his eyes fill with tears. Toyah has to calm Leanne down as she rails at Nick. Taking his opportunity to carry out Ray's orders, Gary calls on David who tells him how the offer on the house would sort his financial problems, but he doesn't want to uproot Shona and the kids. Gary reckons he should take the money but see if he can rent the house back. Todd offers Paul a hollow apology but when he intimates that Billy's told him what a tough time he's had, Paul's furious. Natasha knows Suki Waters and suggests she writes up a story about Oliver for the Gazette. Leanne agrees to talk to her but is still defensive as she's interviewed. Gary reports back to Ray. Ray reveals he plans to turf David out of the house and Gary has a pang of guilt as he tries to persuade him to be more reasonable. Hearing about his money problems, Shona assures David she's not bothered if he sells the house so long as she's with him and the kids. Paul storms at Billy, accusing him of telling Todd about Kel. Billy has to assure him that he hasn't betrayed him. Leanne talks candidly about Oliver's condition but when Suki mentions his impending death as a given event, Leanne loses it, calling her a blood-sucker and storms out of the flat.
Part Two: Nick has to apologise to Suki and as he chats to her, he tells her that he's Sam's natural father. Seeing that David is worried that the house sale will upset Gail and Sarah, Shona suggests he says nothing as the rental will mean they see no change in their life. In the Rovers, Gemma enjoys her time behind the bar and tells Todd she wants no trouble when he comes in to see Billy and Paul already sat there. Gail is concerned when she sees Nick and Natasha chatting away as they clear away the charity table. She confronts her, saying she wants to lure her son away from Leanne. Natasha tells her that she's tapped. While Paul is in the gents, Todd approaches Billy again, saying they still want each other. As Paul returns and Eileen walks in, Billy comes clean that Todd wants him back but that he's said a firm no. Leanne worries what Suki will say about her, telling Toyah she regrets agreeing to the interview. Todd admits defeat, telling Paul and Billy that they're good together and he's going to keep out of their way, but Eileen is suspicious about her son's sudden turnaround.
