Plot[]
Part One: Eileen warns Todd not to go out as he might bump into people who have a grudge against him, such as Gary and Craig, but he feels trapped in the house and walks out. Steve and Tracy have left for Germany to see Dr Schmitz. Gail is looking forward to meeting Sam in person as he prepares to set up a fundraising table for Oliver in Victoria Gardens, but she upsets Nick when she voices her opinion that Natasha shouldn't be involved. Nick is concerned how Leanne will react when she finds out that Sam is helping. Billy tells Paul that he's getting cold feet about the archdeacon position. Paul worries he's changed his mind because Todd is back on the scene. Gemma dolls up for her first shift in the Rovers. Gail meets Sam who is selling homemade rockets. She interrogates Natasha as to why she's also helping. Todd visits Sarah at Underworld to catch up on old times. Wendy Caple introduces herself to Leanne and explains that she's been elected as Oliver's court-appointed guardian. Leanne's hostile and accuses Wendy of siding with the doctors. Sarah tells Todd that Billy struggled while he was away and was taking drugs. Paul isn't pleased to see him hanging around and the two stand off to each other when Todd deliberately winds him up and invites him to take a shot at him.
Part Two: Sarah threatens Paul with the sack if he hits Todd. David sees Hugo taking pictures of the barbers, threatening to put him out of business when he tells his 2.8 million social media followers what they're like. David's laughter suddenly turns to concern. Paul comes home in a rage about Todd. Billy gets impatient that he won't be assured that he has nothing to worry about. Leanne can't keep her temper with Wendy. Embarrassed Nick apologises for her tone but Leanne rounds on him, furious that he should apologise for her. Natasha's fuming when Gail warns her to keep her hands off Nick. Gary overhears David telling Gail about the trouble that the barbers is in. Billy comes round to see Todd and asks him to be civil to Paul, saying he's had a tough time. Billy is still hurt about the way in which Todd walked out on him and admits he lost the love of his life when he left. Todd tells him that he wants him back.
