Plot[]
Part One: David begins to realise what he's taken on when an excitable Shona wakes up the entire Platt household at 6.00am. Sean finds out about the body Eileen is identifying when Craig arranges for her to come to the mortuary. Ray offers Scott a job building houses for a mate of his in Cheshire. Scott accepts and tells Jenny he's sticking around. Johnny pretends to be pleased when he hears the news. Maria makes plans to sell her share of the salon and put it towards buying the barbers from Audrey. Todd continues to pressure Eileen to lie that the corpse is his. Eileen is disgusted that he would burden her with having to keep up such a lie but considers doing so to save her son. Sean tells Billy about the body and that Eileen is refusing all support. Arthur interests Evelyn in going to Derwentwater with him, she sleeping in a caravan and he in a tent. Maria finds a huge credit card bill that Gary tried to hide from her. Gary admits that the lockdown hit him harder than he let on. Billy joins Eileen at the police station and insists she needs someone by her side in case the body is Todd.
Part Two: Still undecided about Todd's plan, Eileen turns Billy away and goes into the mortuary alone. Johnny advises Ray not to employ Scott as he's an ex-con. David tries to get a loan to sort out the sinkhole. The Platts plan a belated 80th birthday party for Audrey now that she's out of shielding. Shona nearly takes one of Max's ADHD pills, thinking they're her own medication. David stops her in time but is overwhelmed by the responsibility of looking after her. Arthur receives a call from his dog-sitter and dashes back home as he and Evelyn are preparing to set off for the Lake District. Scott admits that he's planning to do Ray over and offers Johnny a chance to get in on the action. Johnny isn't interested. Gary tells Fiz he has to cut her hours. She tells him to shove his job. Eileen arrives home to find Billy waiting to hear whether the body was Todd.
