Plot[]
Part One: David's on edge as it's the day that Shona plans to move back into No.8. Scott asks an upset Emma as to how Oliver is doing. He apologises for not being generous enough with his own donations to the fund as his job has just come to an end with no other work in sight. Eileen reads the note to herself - it is from Todd asking her to meet him at an old warehouse on Gas Street at midday. Emma takes on extra shifts at the Rovers to help Oliver. Johnny isn't impressed when Scott says he will assist with a fundraising effort. Scott enjoys winding up Johnny by saying he plans to stay in the area. Toyah is stunned when Leanne tells her about Sam. Tracy and Nick commiserate with each other over the pressure that Oliver's situation is causing to their relationships with Steve and Leanne. Without giving the true reason why, Eileen refuses to go to the police station with Craig to identify a body they have found. Steve and Leanne get a date for their first court hearing which will take place on 19th October. The strain starts to get to Leanne and she asks Toyah to fetch Nick for her. A scared Lenny Isaacs passes on a message through Sean for Billy saying he's resigning from searching for Todd as the job isn't worth the risk to him. Eileen goes in a taxi to the warehouse. Sean worries as to where she has got to when he finds she's rung in sick to the cab office. Todd greets Eileen in the warehouse car park.
Part Two: Shona moves out of the cafe flat. She finds it difficult to formulate the appropriate words of thanks for Roy. Nick and Leanne make up. She tells him how much she needs him. Before Todd can explain to his mother what's going on, they are cornered by gangster Mick Chaney. Jenny tries to take Emma's mind off her troubles by asking for help in tasting some free wine samples she's been sent by a supplier. A shaken Dev reveals someone broke into the shop, cleaned out the till and stole most of the booze and fags. Johnny's instantly suspicious of Scott. Todd clubs Mick to the ground with a piece of wood and they run for it. Alya visits Yasmeen and tells her about Abi locking Geoff in the conservatory. She's delighted when her gran bursts into hysterical laughter at the news, showing some of her old spirit. Todd tells Eileen they need to get as far away as possible from the warehouse.
Part Three: Gail sympathises with the strain that David is under in trying to adjust to Shona's changed personality. Evelyn invites herself to join in with the wine-tasting. Johnny sees Scott giving Emma a wad of cash for Oliver's appeal. Alya enjoys winding Geoff up over Tim and Sally's wedding, Yasmeen's reaction to the news, and the fact that everyone in the prison was laughing at his predicament. Todd tells Eileen that he's been helping Mick with money laundering. She's furious at how he's wasting his life and lectures him to sort himself out. Todd asks for his mum's help as he stole money from Mick and now there's a price on his head.
Part Four: Jenny and Evelyn get drunk on the wines. Eileen rings her excuses to a panicking Sean. Todd refuses to go to the police for protection and tells her that he needs to disappear. Johnny confronts Scott and accuses him of robbing the shop. An amused Scott explains he got an advance on his wages. Dev announces the police have caught the culprits and Johnny's forced to apologise. Eileen hands Todd as much as cash she can manage. She mentions the unidentified body and Todd latches on to the news as the perfect solution to his problem - for her to say the corpse is him and to allow him to disappear for good.
