Plot[]
Part One: Leanne reels as Nick explains how Natasha gave birth to Sam nine years ago but kept it a secret from him. He admits he met his son a few days ago but kept the truth from her as he was worried about the strain that she's already under with Oliver. Geoff tries every verbal trick he can think of to get Abi to release him from the conservatory, but she is too wily for him. Geoff tries crying for help when Kevin rings Abi, but she manages to cover for the noise coming from the locked room. She delights in telling her raging captor that the wedding is just about to start. Nick assures Leanne that Oliver is still his priority and offers to cut off all contact with Sam. She refuses to allow him to dump that decision on her shoulders. Eileen, Sean and Mary check and find out that only cash has been taken. They realise that the intruder got in using Sean's spare key which he kept under a plant pot in the back yard. Eileen is livid with his carelessness. The wedding party return to a reception at the bistro. Faye calls at No.4 to change her shoes and discovers what has been happening in the interim. Hearing the ceremony is over, Abi releases Geoff. Faye denies seeing anything as Geoff threatens Abi with revenge. Wanting to get matters over, Leanne insists Nick summons Natasha and Sam to the hospital so they can meet.
Part Two: Abi joins the reception where Tim and Sally thank her for her actions. They are interrupted by PC Clements who has received a complaint of false imprisonment from Geoff. The wedding party all vouch that Abi was with them at the ceremony and he leaves. Leanne meets Natasha who assures her that Sam is Nick's son. She is overcome with emotion when she meets Sam. Tim and Sally bask in their happiness. Invited to join the reception, Craig is asked onto the dance floor by Faye who assures him that any girl would be lucky to have him as their boyfriend. Buoyed up, he's disappointed when her new boyfriend texts her. Leanne seemingly enjoys chatting to Sam but she can't get her own troubles out of her mind. Eileen hears a noise from the back yard and finds a note that's been left there. Spotting Geoff in the street, Tim tells Geoff he's lost his entire family and has only himself to blame. Leanne tells Nick she hates him for having a new son to cling on to and tells him to leave her.
