Plot[]
Part One: Daniel rings Nicky, leaving a message suggesting they have lunch together. Adam calls round and Daniel admits they've slept together. Adam warns him it won't end well. Brian and Cathy bicker over the identity of some wild flowers that Tyrone has got for Fiz. Brian decides to have Mary mediate on the issue. To force Nicky to call on him, Daniel makes a booking through the agency. She's angry at the move. He assures her that he admires her for just doing what she does to survive but points out that, just like him, she won't easily admit to everyone what she does for a living. Peter asks Abi not to tell anyone she made a play for him as he doesn't want Carla finding out. Hiding her guilt, Abi promises. Nicky admits she thinks differently about Daniel compared to the other men she sees, but says she has to do what she does for the sake of her child and her sick mother. She tearfully refuses any help from him and walks out. While Sarah is held up with a broken-down car, client Tom Reed calls into Underworld from London. Michael and Toyah try and cover for their boss's absence but also bicker as to who should be the one who gets the kudos for saving the situation. Adam refuses Daniel an advance on his wages, nor a loan, to help Nicky clear off her debts. Mr Reed gets bored with Michael and Toyah's competing amateurish sales patter. Grace calls into the factory to see Michael. Nicky rings Daniel for help as she's being abused by a violent client. He tells her to run and take a taxi to his flat.
Part Two: Brian gets annoyed when Mary sides with Cathy. He accuses the sisterhood of being in collusion and Mary bars him from the florists. His patience at an end with Michael and Toyah's weak diversionary tactics, Mr Reed walks out of the factory. Peter's taken aback when Debbie corners him in the cafe and, ordering him to stay well away from Abi, threatens to tell everyone he's been on the prowl again. In retaliation, Brian bars Mary from The Kabin. Lenny Isaacs informs Billy he traced Safia, the girl who posed as Todd, who admitted they had teamed up to scam a local gangster. Todd never came home one day and has been missing for weeks. Billy instantly frets that Todd's dead. Peter asks Abi why she told Debbie what happened between them. Nicky staggers out of a taxi, in tears and with a bloodied head.
