Plot[]
Part One: Kevin is on edge and takes his temper out on Jack as he yells at him upstairs to get a move on. Debbie watches her brother's overreaction with concern as he tells Abi he's arranged for his son to spend the day with Fiz and the girls. Debbie takes him to task for his manner towards Abi. Emma collects signatures for her sponsored silence. Daniel refuses to listen to Kirk and Beth's entreaties to drop Nicky, now that they know she's an escort. Dr Howarth breaks the news that Oliver's medication has had to be increased. Leanne starts to lose faith that they can take advantage of the German treatment due to its cost. Abi tells Dev that Jack has admitted he is being bullied over his false leg and she has advised him to stand up for himself. Oblivious to the truth, she tells Peter her admission to Kevin has gone down well. Adam warns Daniel that Nicky will cause him nothing but heartache. The sponsored silence begins. Fiz storms across to the garage, livid that Jack has attacked Hope. Daniel's pleased when Nicky turns up with sandwiches for their lunch. Abi stands up for Jack's actions, though she was unaware that Hope was his bully, and is hurt when Kevin tells her to leave the parenting to him. She realises Kevin has a problem with her admission about drug-taking, and her possible effect on his son, and she walks off.
Part Two: Leanne's overwhelmed when Nick offers to sell his shares in Underworld to raise cash for Oliver's treatment. Dev scuttles off before Tracy can blag sponsorship money out of him. Abi goes into the Rovers and buys a bottle of whisky, taking it into the yard to drink. Nicky tells Daniel there's a job going at her aunt's B&B in Lytham St Annes if she could only clear her enormous debts. They suddenly realise how attracted they are to each other. Leanne almost catches Nick looking at social media images of his son. She tells him how much she loves him for putting Oliver first. Alerted by Jenny, Peter finds Abi with her whisky in the yard. She tells him what's transpired between her and Kevin. Daniel and Nicky have had sex, but she realises he now feels guilty. He manages to talk her out of walking out on their friendship. Debbie tells her brother he needs to show Abi he loves her and to go and find her now. Peter counsels Abi and she tells him that no one understands her the way that he does. She comes on to him.
