Part One: Leanne vows to keep Oliver alive while they wait for a cure if that's what it takes. Dr Howarth further informs them that the damage to his brain caused by the seizures will soon spread to other areas; turning off his life support is the humane option. Steve is devastated that he won't get to say goodbye to his son. Leanne disregards Dr Howarth's recommendation and throws her weight behind the experimental treatment option. Debbie urges Abi to tell Kevin the truth, promising that she'll have her back. The Platts move back into No.8 as the house is deemed safe. Paul believes Billy doesn't have faith in him when the vicar asks him if he had anything to do with Kel's death. Paul admits that his beef stems from the fact that the police are so keen to investigate now, but didn't want to know when he was telling them what Kel did to him. Steve and Leanne speak to Dr Schmitz over the phone. Steve is concerned when Leanne plays down the severity of Oliver's case. Emma thinks Mary has a crush on George Shuttleworth. Dr Schmitz tentatively agrees to come to the country to examine Oliver. Nick rings Natasha again.

Part Two: Mary remains frosty towards George when he comes into the Rovers to apologise for his manner earlier. Shona tells David that she likes being with him and feels safe under his roof. She decides to move back into No.8. Adam persuades Daniel to join him at his flat tomorrow evening for an online pub quiz. Nick meets with Natasha and turns down her offer to meet Sam, explaining that it's because of Oliver. She understands and respects his decision. David tells Ray he's keeping hold of his house after all. Ray quietly seethes. Steve tackles Leanne about the lies she told Dr Schmitz. She doesn't care as she just wants to get him here. They're shocked by the texted estimate for Oliver's treatment - £500,000.
