Plot[]
Part One: Abi and Seb prepare to say their final goodbyes to the twins before they leave for Australia. Paul anticipates a boring 30th birthday playing board games with Billy and Summer, unaware that Billy and Gemma are planning a secret surprise party. Checking Eileen's mail, Mary reads a letter from Todd asking for £1,000. Gemma hosts her first mother and baby zoom chat. Vanessa thanks her for helping her to get over her loneliness. With Eileen away, Sean and Mary turn to Billy for advice on what to do about Todd. Sarah is livid to hear Paul and Alina gossiping about her split from Adam. Carla encourages her not to let Adam go without a fight. Kevin leaves Abi on her own at the garage while he attends to a breakdown, closing the shutters behind him. Disaster strikes when the engine Abi is working on falls on top of her.
Part Two: Abi cries out for help but her shouts go unheard. Billy, Sean and Mary decide to confront Todd and find out whether he really cares about Eileen or is only after money. Sean texts Todd and arranges to leave the money in a bag in Victoria Gardens. Abi is pinned down in the garage and misses her rendezvous with Seb. When his call goes unanswered due to Abi being unable to reach her phone, Seb assumes she's let Charlie and Lexi down yet again and sets off without her. Paul starts making his own birthday plans and invites Gemma over for karaoke. Gemma says she's busy with the quads. Adam's eager to go out and get smashed with Daniel now that he's a free agent. Sarah is hurt by how casual he is about their split. Billy leaves a bag full of shredded paper in the designated spot and takes off, not wanting Todd to see him in case he thinks he's spent the last two years pining for him. Mary and Sean wait to see if Todd appears. Peter borrows Tyrone's garage keys to collect his cab. Daniel calls Nicky and insists on seeing her today. She arranges to come to him. Peter lets himself into the garage and finds Abi on the floor. He calls an ambulance.
