Plot[]
Part One: Kirk lets Maria know that Gary has disappeared. Gary and Sarah deny there's anything going on between them but David knows what he heard. Sally tells Tim about Geoff's vile comments and begs him not to let Geoff drag him down to his level. Tim feels he has no choice but to stand by his dad as he has no one else. Acting as Maria's friend, David tells Gary that if he has feelings for Sarah he must call off the wedding. Gary says that does love Sarah but his future is with Maria. They finally arrive at the bistro, where Maria is waiting with Kirk and Emma. David decides not to dob Gary in to Maria. Maria is upset that they couldn't have more guests. Gemma asks Bernie to mind the quads while she goes to the shop. Bernie tells her that she knows she's really meeting Vanessa and she's already seen her off. Gemma is livid with her mum and with Chesney for blabbing to her. Abi calls social services and gets a second chance to say goodbye to the twins. Mary promises Sean an evening on the sofa wrapped in their Ben Shephard blanket and a game of Jenga with Twiglets. Adam meets Sarah to decide whether their marriage has a future. He's already moved into the Redbank flat that was meant to be theirs. Adam makes Sarah assure him that he now knows everything and asks what she has to do to make him take her back.
Part Two: Gary and Maria are married. Adam asks Sarah to report Gary to the police so that they can move on; she can tell them she got rid of the watch under duress. When she refuses to oblige him, he tells her they're finished. Gemma texts Vanessa and meets her in Victoria Gardens. Vanessa offers to help Gemma find a signed photo of PJ and Duncan for Paul's birthday from a contact of hers. Tim is sick of playing piggy in the middle and goes away with Sally to Gina's for a few days. Geoff is stung by his son's coldness towards him. Gary fixes up a free honeymoon in Cheshire and says that's why he was late to the wedding. Gemma tells Bernie that she didn't see Vanessa as she considers setting up an online mother and baby group for people who are wary about being in crowds. Bernie thinks she has enough on her plate. Gary and Maria set off on their honeymoon.
