Plot[]
Part One: Adam won't let Sarah leave the office until she tells him everything she knows about Gary and Rick. Leanne walks into a stand-off between Steve and Nina in the cafe over the sausages. Realising the stress of Oliver's condition is getting to him, Leanne gently ushers him out. Alya visits Geoff in Speed Daal and offers to buy him out to get rid of her. He adamantly refuses and she takes great delight in telling him that Sally was giving her the money for the transaction that he gave them for the wedding. Demanding to know why Sarah was ringing the police just before Gary's accident, she admits to Adam that if Gary did kill Rick then he did it to protect her and her family. Toyah looks for Leanne for the reference for Karen. Steve admits to Leanne that he's feeling the pressure with Liz in Spain and one less person to talk to. They agree to be each other's support. Chesney apologises to Gemma for losing his temper with her but is annoyed to find she has online vlog viewers' comments criticising him for shouting at her. Only somebody using the name VAN87 admits to feeling similar pressures to the two of them and Gemma replies to her to chat. Leanne apologises to Toyah for getting distracted from the reference. Adam admonishes Sarah for lying to him. She won't deny still being in love with Gary and he walks out on her.
Part Two: Sarah dumps the watch in a rubbish bin. Gemma is surprised to discover that VAN87 is Vanessa Finney. She tells Gemma that her husband has left her and she is struggling. She apologises fervently for what she and Imogen Tatum did to her, saying her supposed friend has also dropped her. Seeing that she is in a bad way, Gemma forgives her. Sarah tries to make up with Adam but he imposes the condition on her that she hands in the watch to the police. She admits that it's been thrown away and he angrily tells her they're finished. Toyah tells Leanne she's amazing with the way she's coping. Tim is livid when he finds out that Sally gave Alya the money and suggests they might as well call the wedding off. Sarah is in tears over Adam. Passing Gary in the street, Adam tells him that he's welcome to his wife.
