Plot[]

Part One: Geoff watches as the bins are emptied and the camera is lost forever. Imran learns from Geoff and Yasmeen's bank statements that one of them has been frequenting a hotel bar. Alya says it must be Geoff as he wasn't letting Yasmeen go out. The twins start at Oakhill. Imran becomes interested in Kelly Neelan when Adam tells him that she's Rick's daughter and Gary has been strangely protective of her. Meeting with Yasmeen, Imran asks his client about the bar bills. She tells him that she's never been to the hotel and, with some prompting, admits that Geoff was meeting escorts there. Tim gives Sally a lecture about supporting his father. Gary riles Dev about sending his children to a school that he can't afford. Imran passes his new information onto Alya along with the bad news that Yasmeen is planning to plead guilty.

Part Two: Roy entertains Shona and Alice in his flat and invites Shona to move in. Dev puts Aadi on the rota at the kebab shop to help ease his financial woes. Cathy and Bernie are annoyed as it means their shifts will be cut. Asha walks out of school after her third lesson when it turns out that her new classmates all know about the video. Nina joins her in Victoria Gardens and assures her that the kids will quickly move onto the next craze. Sally asks Alya how Yasmeen is, showing genuine concern for her neighbour. Alya makes her see that Yasmeen would have had no reason to attack Geoff. Roy bakes cookies for his guests and introduces Shona to Nina. Shona behaves inappropriately, touching the hot baking tray with her bare hands. Sally starts to believe Alya when she points out that Geoff suspiciously didn't go in the ambulance when he had his heart attack. Geoff worries when he sees the pair together just after Alya has told her about the escorts. Dev gets a call from the twins' school about Asha bunking off. Liz looks over the dodgy shower in the Rovers so she can flirt with Scott. Imran tackles Kelly about the whereabouts of her dad. She doesn't tell him. Sally repeats Alya's allegation about Geoff's penchant for prostitutes to Tim. Tim doesn't believe her but when he asks Geoff about, the man doesn't deny it.

  • This episode, transmitted at 7.30pm, was the only episode shown on this date due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This led to a temporary cessation of the programme's production which began on 23rd March, and a scaling back on the transmission of previously recorded episodes from six to three a week which began from 30th March onwards.
