Plot[]
Part One: Following a meal, Tim and Geoff play an April fool joke on Sally and Yasmeen that Tim has severed his thumb with a sharp knife. Bernie tries to trick Chesney that she has chickenpox but he remembers the date. He refuses her suggestion that he takes Aled alone for his hearing aids to be fitted in order to give Gemma a rest. Sally talks about the wedding venue they've found. Yasmeen suggests she shows it them all on Geoff's laptop, thereby giving her the chance to see the password he types. David and Lily play a joke on Gail that the girl has run away. Tracy sits at the table oblivious to the shaving foam on her head, put there by Steve. Beth has invited the two of them and Amy to visit her and Daniel in Scotland. While Geoff's in the shower, Yasmeen checks his email. She finds no correspondence with the hotel but she's staggered to find several emails with Rachel the escort. David apologises to Alina for his behaviour. Gail claims David's car is on fire but he isn't fooled. Geoff catches Yasmeen and demands an explanation.
Part Two: Geoff lies to Yasmeen that he was carrying out research for his radio show on a dating agency and accuses her of not trusting him. Aled's aids work. Chesney is delighted but Gemma is distant. David and Alina agree to a fresh start. Yasmeen pushes Geoff about the hotel booking and asks to see the confirmation. Unconcerned, he admits he lied to her. Tracy gets Steve back with shaving foam. Emma assures Steve and Tracy she'll be fine on her own. Yasmeen stands her ground with Geoff who claims he was trying to make a grand gesture for her with the five-star hotel. She tells him that she's going to Spain for the wedding by herself. Geoff starts to panic that she's leaving him. Gemma shows little emotion at Aled's good news. Bernie notices her state. Gemma tells her she can manage on her own now and asks her to leave. Keen for another high, David tries to pick a fight with a commuter at the tram station. Yasmeen packs a case as Geoff claims she doesn't care about him. He tries to unpack her belongings but she stops him. Desperate, he blocks the front door and tells her she's not going anywhere.

Notes[]
- This episode, transmitted at 7.30pm, was the only episode shown on this date due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This led to a temporary cessation of the programme's production which began on 23rd March, and a scaling back on the transmission of previously recorded episodes from six to three a week which began from 30th March onwards.
- This episode was produced with the intention of it being transmitted on Wednesday 1st April at 7.30pm.
- Due to time constraints before the MediaCity studios were locked down, the end credits for this episode were not remade but instead used that originally intended for both this and the next episode. This means that the following were credited but did not appear: Seb Franklin (Harry Visinoni), Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott), Cathy Matthews (Melanie Hill), Brian Packham (Peter Gunn), Alya Nazir (Sair Khan), Nick Tilsley (Ben Price), Michael Bailey (Ryan Russell) and Sean Tully (Antony Cotton).
- The scene where Yasmeen Metcalfe reads Geoff's emails with Rachel the escort was accompanied by sound effects illustrating her shock as she takes in the revelation.
- TV Times synopsis: Yasmeen confronts Geoff with his emails; Gemma tries to be positive as Alex's [sic] hearing aid is fitted; and David apologises for using Alina.
- Viewing Figures: First UK broadcast: 7,623,460 viewers (4th place).
