Plot[]
Part One: Peter and Tracy are shocked to see a "For Sale" sign outside No.1. Kevin thinks Ray is just trying to scare them with his latest claim. Bethany is turned down for a job at a restaurant. Paula confirms that no new evidence against Abi has been shared with the police. Tracy tells Steve in no uncertain terms that they're buying No.1 and selling the flat to pay for it. Kevin chases up a breakdown in Oldham along with Tyrone, who is back from Liverpool. Chesney and Gemma meet with the audiologist again to find out more about the cochlear implant procedure. They're alarmed by the fact that the doctors will drill into Aled's head but the audiologist assures them it's a low-risk operation. Ray turns up at the garage and admits to getting Kevin and Tyrone out of the way with a bogus callout. He shows Abi some dashcam footage of her stealing his car, taken by a friend of his, and offers to destroy it if she'll meet him at the Chariot Square Hotel later.
Part Two: Abi realises Ray's trying to blackmail her into having sex with him and refuses. Steve offers to sell the flat to Liz. She's keen. Bethany suspects Ray has had her name blacklisted at all the local restaurants when another one turns her down. Sarah offers her a short-term position at the factory setting up their sales arm. Bethany is wary about working alongside Beth but accepts as she needs the money to pay rent. Tracy offers £105,000 for No.1 - £15,000 less than the asking price. Abi confesses to Paula that she really did torch Ray's car. Paula says she'd be looking at two to eight years if charged, and Kevin four to twelve months. Tracy feels sure that Ken will accept her offer in order to keep the house in the family and crassly tells Peter to find somewhere else to live. Danny visits James and it's clear he's not bringing good news. Gemma eavesdrops on Chesney talking to Aled and is saddened that their son can't hear a word of it. Abi is consumed with guilt after watching Kevin interact with Jack. Making a decision, she rings Ray and says she'll do it.
