Elizabeth Rider (born 1958 in Newark, Nottinghamshire) played two minor roles on Coronation Street: firstly Kathleen Gutteridge - the biological mother of Ashley Peacock - between August and October 1999; then returning in April 2006 as Genna, a social worker who was involved in Les Battersby-Brown's case of adopting stepson Chesney.
