Elianne Byrne appeared on Coronation Street in two different roles: firstly in November 2002 as an unnamed Paramedic who attended Audrey Roberts after son-in-law Richard Hillman purposefully set fire to 5 Grasmere Drive in an attempt to kill her. She returned to the programme in August 2013 as Amma Newbury, the probation officer of Rob Donovan.
Her other credits include roles in Medics, City Central, Heartbeat, The Cops, Where the Heart Is, North & South, Ideal, The Royal and Emmerdale.
Married to fellow Street actor Graeme Hawley, the couple live in Manchester with their two children.
