Edward Henry Judd (born 4th October 1932 in Shanghai, China; died 24th February 2009 in Mitcham, London) appeared on Coronation Street in November 1982 as crooked businessman, Geoff Siddall.

He began acting as a teenager in the country of his birth before moving to the UK. He made uncredited appearances in several films in the late 1940s and early 1950s gaining his first television role in Sixpenny Corner, the very first ITV soap in 1955. He also appeared in The Adventures of Sir Lancelot, Wideawake, The Man Who Finally Died, Skyport, Golden Girl, Intrigue, Point Counter Point, Z Cars, Emmerdale Farm, Crown Court, Tycoon, Flambards, Jack the Ripper, Casualty and Van der Valk.

He made his main mark in films with starring roles in The Day the Earth Caught Fire, First Men in the Moon and Island of Terror and was given a contract by Paramount Pictures but gained a reputation for being difficult to work with and his movie career waned. He also appeared in Carry on Sergeant, Sink the Bismarck!, It Takes a Thief, The Long Ships, Strange Bedfellows, The Vengeance of She, Living Free, O Lucky Man! and The Vault of Horror.

On stage, he appeared in productions of The Long and the Short and the Tall, The Tinker, The Changing Room, The Garden, Small Craft Warnings and Early Days.

Radio work included The Monday Play, Saturday-Night Theatre, Afternoon Theatre and Waggoners' Walk.

It was reported that he became a credit officer for a Canadian investment bank following his retirement in the early 1990s.
