Earl Garr C. Wan (born 1982 in Harrogate) appeared on Coronation Street intermittently between December 2020 and December 2024 as Weatherfield General-based Dr Chen.
He graduated from the Manchester Metropolitan University in 2004 with a BA (Hons) in Illustration with Animation and worked as a commercial photographer in Hong Kong prior to returning to the UK and further trained at the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts (ALRA) and the Identity School of Acting.
His other credits include roles in Strangers, Fei Fu Cimhang Gik Zin and Pulse, along with the films Supercapitalist, The Hidden Track and The Obscure Life of the Grand Duke of Corsica.
On stage, he appeared in productions of Love and Information and Mr Kolpert.
