Duncan Livingstone (born 1936 in Romford, Essex) appeared on Coronation Street in September 1964 as Corporal Dixon, who assisted in defusing the bomb that was found under the flags of 1 Coronation Street.
He played several minor parts in television series in the 1960s, including First Night, Sergeant Cork, Emergency-Ward 10, Dixon of Dock Green, Six Shades of Black, No Hiding Place and Honey Lane.
On stage, he appeared in productions of The Doctor and the Devils, Pygmalion, When We Are Married, War and Peace and Chips With Everything.
