Dr Reese treated three residents of Weatherfield who needed treatment at Weatherfield General for injuries inflicted upon them.
In October 2016, Anna Windass was her patient. She had suffered burns when a car driven at high speed by David Platt had crashed, hitting his own daughter Lily and her rescuer Gary Windass. David had been trying to get to Weatherfield Crown Court in an attempt to kill Clayton Hibbs who had knifed his wife, Kylie, to death. The residents lifted the vehicle off the two, but leaked petrol ignited, injuring Anna's legs. She needed skin-graft surgery with the donated tissues coming from her back and the doctor came to her room with colleagues to wheel her down to theatre, assuring her and her family that Anna was in good hands. After the long procedure was completed, she reported back that it had gone as well as they could hope and they now had to see how her body responded, but the signs were good. Anna recovered over time but faced some psychological problems dealing with her disfigurement.
Leanne Battersby was the patient in October 2018 after being caught in the crossfire and run over by gangster Ronan Truman while giving chase to Ryan Connor, intent on killing him for neglecting to call an ambulance while his son Cormac was dying from a drugs overdose. Leanne had suffered an aortic transection - a tear in the aorta - which had damaged her heart but she undergone surgery and Dr Reese was with her as she started to come round. She reported to her loved ones that Leanne was breathing well but not to expect too much from her initially as she was very disorientated.
In October 2019 she treated Kel Hinchley after he was badly beaten up by Paul Foreman in revenge for grooming and sexual abuse committed against him by the older man when he was a child. Paul's mother, Bernie Winter, was also Kel's partner and at that time had no idea about the history between her boyfriend and her son. She waited anxiously in the hospital for news of Kel who was coming out of a coma and Dr Reese informed her that a scan had showed that the bleeding on his brain had stopped, there was no swelling and the initial signs were good for his recovery. It would be almost another two months before Bernie found out the reason for the attack and then reported Kel to the police.
