Dorothy Stockwell was a woman who called on Mike Baldwin and told him that she wanted to know the name of her husband Wilf's mistress. Mike duly warned Elsie Tanner that Mrs. Stockwell was on the warpath. She went into the Baldwin's Casuals, stopped production and asked Ivy Tilsley who Wilf had been sleeping with. Elsie soon owned up and Mrs. Stockwell told her to stay away from Wilf. Elsie refused to listen to her threats and told her it was clear why Wilf left her. Mrs. Stockwell felt sure Wilf would return to her if Elsie finished with him.
