Doris Wellings (born "Doris Clarson" on 27th November 1899 in Macclesfield, died 29th January 1977, also in Macclesfield) appeared on Coronation Street in three roles:

Her other roles include Fair Game, Knight Errant Limited, Family Solicitor, Bulldog Breed, Z Cars, Mr. Rose, Crossroads and the 1968 Tony Warren-scripted Granada series The War of Darkie Pilbeam.

On stage, she appeared in productions of Jane Clegg, Ethel Fry and Bird in Hand.

Her actress daughter, Christina (who worked with Patricia Phoenix in the scandalous 1950s stage play A Girl Called Sadie) was at one time married to Coronation Street director Dave Warwick.
