Dominic Holmes (born Bolton, 1993) was the second actor (after Lewis Harney) to play Daniel Osbourne in Coronation Street when the character returned briefly in May and June 2007. The role of Daniel was later taken over by Rob Mallard in 2016.
Holmes started acting at the age of six and, after his stint as Daniel, went on to train at the Guildford School of Acting. He has performed in theatre in Macbeth, Henry IV, Welcome to Shangri-La, Vincent River, Noise and Cock. On television, he has appeared in Heartbeat, Mrs In-Betweeny, Lilies, Jinx, Two Weeks to Live, War of the Worlds, Industry, Hullraisers and F U Martin Parker, while his film credits include Splintered and Cannibals and Carpet Fitters.
