The Doctor was one of the medical team at Weatherfield General who cared for Jerry Morton after he had collapsed as a direct result of deliberately being given higher than prescribed dosages of his medication by ex-wife Teresa Bryant.
She explained to the Morton family that Jerry had sustained bleeding to the brain and had to undergo an emergency operation, his life hanging in the balance. However, as Jerry started to regain consciousness the doctor told the family to wait outside whilst she undertook her observations. She was pleased with Jerry's progress and he went on to make a full recovery.
