The unnamed Doctor at Weatherfield General treated Tracy Barlow after she had been found unconscious and with head wounds in the backyard of 1 Coronation Street. He told a worried Ken and Deirdre that she had a swelling on the brain which meant that they were unable to gauge the extent of her injuries.
He was later able to tell the relieved Barlows that the swelling had reduced and that the prognosis looked a great deal better.
